Dancing since only the end of the last year 08, I noticed that the price of dance classes have gone up consistently over that period. I haven’t been involved in dance for too long but I could imagine that they were far less 5 or so years ago.

But one thing that I have noticed though is that some studio’s charge, per example, $16 (averaged out) for a casual class. This varying upon who the teacher is can be either cheap or well overpriced. Since there are teachers with professional experience; performing in shows, training at exclusive schools, etc., while there are teachers with no experience in performing, work, training or even teaching in some circumstances that charge the same price.
