Posted on 07 September 2009 by admin

This September and October is your chance to participate with the dancers from The Black Eyed Peas World The E.N.D. Tour 2009 in special workshops (Hip Hop, Jazz Funk and Contemporary) to be held in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Auckland, NZ.

Marlyn Ortiz Black Eyed Peas Dancer

Having recently held dance workshops in Brisbane with the backup dancers and choreographer of Australia’s biggest touring music artist PINK on her Funhouse World Tour, ‘The Foundary’, is proud to announce the hosting of the next exciting international dance workshop.

The Black Eyed Peas are one of the hottest, modern Hip Hop music groups in the world with major hits like “Boom Boom Pow”, “I Gotta Feeling”, “Let’s Get it Started” and many more to their credit. As dance students, we have probably, at one stage or another, learned dance choreography using their music in a dance class.

It’s a dancers dream of becoming a dancer for a major backup music artist participating on a world tour. If you are a dancer who would like to experience the next best thing to being on stage, you now have that opportunity by attending one of the special workshops presented by ‘The Foundary’.

‘The Foundary’ is bringing you something special by giving you a chance to learn from the actual backup dancers of The Black Eyed Peas. Living and breathing their music, these international dancers are here in Australia for a series of special workshops to teach you what they have learned from the tour and throughout their careers - from world tours, music videos, music awards, television and movie appearances.

Any dance student who has been to an international dance workshop knows the buzz you get when you are learning from dancers who are living the dream. These dancers know what they are doing and have been training for years. Who wouldn’t want to experience at least one hour just to absorb their energy and magic they get to live every day of their lives.

Annie Murdoch, the founder and director of ‘The Foundary’, a dance promotion company in Australia, is excited to bring such amazing, fresh, international dance flavour to dance students here in Australia and, is committed to doing so on a regular basis in the future.
